Located in the Wibsey area of Bradford West Yorkshire, BAIT BUNKER is a new low-cost specialist bait shop that have prices to match the pocket of your every day ordinary pleasure angler, specialist carper and home bait maker.
BAIT BUNKER is open to the public every Wednesday and Thursday 2-6pm and offers free and impartial advice on bait, bait making and preparation, recipes and angling tips etc. and provides information on local fisheries and places to fish.
Owner Chris Wilson says:
"As an angler myself, I know how hard it can be to buy quality bait at a reasonable price and anglers are always looking for cheaper alternatives. The rising cost of bait is enough to put people off fishing and many are turning towards supermarket baits to source cheap ingredients for making their own. Nothing beats the feeling of catching a fish on a home made bait and we aim to match or compete on quality and price wherever possible."
BAIT BUNKER have a good selection of similarly priced quality items like eggs at £1 per dozen for boilie making, luncheon meat and tins of sweet corn plus other ingredients and items that the supermarkets do not stock such as; amino acids, preservatives, 100% pure fishmeal, bait dyes, particles, spod mixes, bait buckets, glugs and glug pots as well as the usual mainstay pellets and groundbaits. Many items are pre-bagged or available to weigh out in any quantity to suit the anglers pocket."!
